The world of internet dating is a crowded space. Lots of apps, websites and services are all vying for the attention of singles looking for friendship and romance. But FriendWise is the rare app that speaks specifically to the group most often ignored by the tech industry: seniors.

The DESIGNATION student team was brought in to bring this senior-focused friendship and dating app to life. The team developed wireframes, did user interviews, built a brand identity, and created multiple clickable prototypes in the process of fleshing out this project from beginning to end.

Tasks

  • Front-End Development
  • UI Design
  • Branding

"DESIGNATION was outstanding the way they listenend and incorporated feedback both from me, my board and their test group. Updates were regular and it showed they did their research on my target market of mature adults seeking companionship. I have a working prototype for FriendWise that is developer-ready and more importantly, reflective of what customers want. Thank you!"

Andrew Smerczak-zorza, founder, friendwise
